It finally happened! We did it!  And we are so pleased with the result.

A few weeks ago we joined the www.biggiantcrayon.com, business network, and as a result of being a part of this network we are now capable of undertaking bigger projects much more efficiently, and we can take on more projects than we could before.

As a first ‘port of call’, we thought it a good idea to have a good look at our own website. The Purple Pixels site was about 3 years old, so we decided to make a much simpler and more modern Purple Pixels.

We really like what we have ended up with ourselves, so now we want to show it to everyone.  Go have a look at www.purple-pixels.com to see our “new baby”  Just roam about and don’t forget to click on the Portfolio bar and have a look through the selection of work we display there.

Oh! By the way, since we now have more resources at hand, we have room for new projects, so if you know of anyone that needs some work done regarding website design/development, send them the Purple Pixels link or give them our name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or the like.

Purple-Pixels …

We have just added a new section on the Projects page for the Purple Pixels WallPapers.  Feel free to browse through.

As you can see the BGC has grown quite exponentially over the last few weeks, from just a couple of us posting nonsense and  some work related items.  We have grown to include several new individuals each with their own field of expertise which includes but isn’t limited to Music production, Photography and web application programming. We hope to keep growing as things progress and invite more and more unique people to our network.
Watch this space as we grow into the unknown.

Test to get some more images up on the slide show. This is another one of our photos. The picture is from the vast repositery of images we have taken and made over the years. This picture was taken by the Purple Pixels crew.

Being a newly converted flash sympathizer, I decided I wanted a horizontal scrolling gallery with zoom ability when images are clicked on.. Since I’m relatively new to this whole jQuery thing and I do actually like it I thought yea this should be available and easily tweaked, apparently not so much.  I am now having to embark on taking a couple of scripts and jQuery plug-ins and merge them into a nice little gallery, lucky me.
